Preparations are in full swing for the Republic Day parade. The parade on January 26 will also feature Rafale. The Indian Air Force will display make-up-themed fighter jets during the parade. This will be the first time that Raphael’s performance will be made public.
A total of 42 aircraft will be part of the flight past during the parade. It will feature Sukhoi 30, MiG-29, Jaguar and other fighter planes along with Raphael. Chinook Transport Helicopter, Apache Combat Helicopter C130 which will also be involved in transport aircraft. Tejas, Astra Missile and Rohini Surveillance Radar will also be on display. The Chinook helicopter was built in the United States and was added to the Air Force in 2019. India has 4 Chinook helicopters.
Tight security has been put in place in the capital Delhi on the occasion of Republic Day. Security has been beefed up across Delhi. Posters of fugitive terrorists have also been put up in several places. Special care is being taken for the upcoming Republic Day in view of the Corona virus epidemic.
