People were stunned by the coldwave. People were upset as the weather remained clear on Sunday as the sun did not shine. Throughout the day people were seen in warm clothes.
Even on Monday, people were stuck in the coldwave. Drivers faced a major hurdle when they saw thick fog in the early morning. The lowest temperatures were recorded in Palam and Safdarjung in Delhi on Monday. Palam recorded 10 degrees and Safdarjung 11.2 degrees. Which was a lot more than usual. In cities like Chandigarh, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Ambala, Gangwar, Gwalior, Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Guwahati, Tezpur, Agartala, Patiala, Hinsar, Agra, Lucknow, fog was observed in the morning.
