The Gujarat government said in its press release that Ambaben Kanjibhai Patel, 85, of Saroli village in Surat, had beaten Corona after 10 days of treatment at the Civil Hospital. Despite Zaif’s age, Corona has had to retreat against the old man. Like Ambaben, a number of older elders have succeeded in persuading Corona. Ambaben Patel currently lives in Saroli village with his daughter Tarunaben and son-in-law Mahendrabhai Patel. “I had a fever and my son-in-law and daughter-in-law took me to a private hospital for check-up,” said Ambaben. After recovering from the medication, Koro’s report came back positive. As my health deteriorated, I was admitted to the Civil Hospital in an unconscious state. The noble treatment of the Civil Hospital and the doctors like my son have healed me in 10 days.

Ambaben’s son-in-law Mahendrabhai works in a marketing agency. He thanked the civil authorities and said, “On November 28, my mother-in-law underwent examination and treatment amidst the suspicion of corona. On December 3, my mother-in-law advised me to take her to a civil hospital.” Since he was unconscious, we gave up hope that he would recover and return home. But thanks to the hard work of the civil doctors, he regained consciousness in 3 days. He has returned home after 10 days of treatment. This has been made possible by doctors, medical staff, like God’s messenger in civil. Civil staff called to report the mother’s daily condition and improvement in health. The report was discharged on December 12 after treatment came negative.

The successful treatment of nursing and paramedical staff, including Dr. Ashwin Vasava, Dr. Amit Gamit and Dr. Amira Patel of the Civil Army Health Force, is reviving many such patients.
