Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel on the occasion of the release of the coffee table book describing Women Startup Stories said that in the year of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, 75 success stories of Women Startups will highlight the power of women in the state.
Coffee table book “75 Stories of Startup and Innovation” prepared under I-Hub and SSIP released on International Women’s Day in the presence of Education Minister Shri Jitubhai Vaghani.
The Chief Minister is adamant on making the state’s start-up and innovation sector more advanced by utilising the skill and power of Gujarat’s women. Recently, the Chief Minister invited young start-up managers of the state to his residence and had a one-to-one dialogue with them.
It may be mentioned that the Education Department has compiled a coffee table book describing the start-ups of 75 women entrepreneurs who have contributed in 12 fields of innovation as well as in the state universities and incubators.
To motivate the women of Gujarat to start start-ups, the state government has implemented flagship programs like WE-Start, Women Start-up Demo day, WE-engage under SSIP and i-Hub. This coffee table book will present the ideas and abilities of entrepreneurial young women who will contribute to the mission of Atmanirbhar Gujarat thaki Atmanirbhar Bharat, the Chief Minister said.
On the occasion of the release of this Coffee Table Book, Shri Kuberbhai Dindor, Minister of State for Higher and Technical Education and Principal secretary of education department Shri S. J. Haider were present.
