In Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar, not a single student has been coached in the last one year so that the Scheduled Caste students can prepare for All India level exams like IIM, JEE, NEET and SEPT and pass the exam to make a higher career. All coaching classes were closed due to Corona’s condition so there is no question of providing coaching, the government said in the House.
Intervening during Question Hour, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that new coaching classes would be started in four zones in the state for coaching IIT, IIM, JEE and NEET exams. Classes will be started at Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat. The government has for the first time planned to start such coaching classes by making provision in the budget. By getting training in such classes, Gujarat students will be able to get admission in their quotas. The poor will be given special priority.
