Motera Stadium (Sardar Patel Cricket Stadium) Ahmedabad, Gujarat is the largest cricket stadium in the world. Now, for the first time, an international cricket series will be played. Ahmedabad will host a day-night Test match against England at the newly constructed Motera Stadium from February 24. This will be the third Test in a four-match series.
Apart from this, the fourth Test of the England series (March 4-8) will also be played here. BCCI secretary Jai Shah himself gave this information on Thursday. Shah arrived for the inauguration of the Gujarat Cricket Association’s indoor academy.
Let me tell you that this indoor cricket academy built at a cost of Rs 40 lakh will be a good practice for the players in the near future. The academy is also equipped with 40 LED lights so that it can be studied even at night. The Gujarat Cricket Association has also started providing good coaches for the players coming here.
It is learned that today, when BCCI secretary Jai Shah arrived for the inauguration of the indoor cricket academy, he bowled here for the first time. Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel batted. Both enjoyed a great game.
