The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced the squad for the World Test Championship final and the Test series against England. Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Mohammad Sami have made comebacks in the team. Team India will face New Zealand in the WTC final.
The BCCI has selected 20 members for Team India for the World WTC final and the Test series against England. The team includes four openers, four middle order batsmen, six fast bowlers, four spinners and two wicketkeepers.
The BCCI senior selection committee today announced the squad for the World Test Championship final to be played in Southampton from June 18 to 22. This will be followed by a five-match Test series between India and England between August 4 and September 14.
The five-match Test series between India and England begins in Nottingham on August 4. The second Test will be played on August 12 at the historic Lord’s Ground. The third Test will be played on August 25 in Lods. The fourth Test will be played at the Oval in London on September 2. The fifth and final Test will be played in Manchester on September 10.
