The annual Draconid meteor shower — also known as Giacobinids — witnessed its peak after the nightfall on Wednesday and Thursday (October 7th nd 8th). But if you have missed it then don’t regret because, The sky show is not yet over!!! As per the report in Earthsky, the shower is typically active from October 6 to October 10 every year.
You don’t need any special equipment or a bundle of skills to watch a meteor shower. What you actually need is a clear sky, loads of patience…
While watching Meteor shower you’ll feel the same or i can say more Thrill and amaze just like we feel on Diwali viewing fireworks on the sky!!!
Somehow if you miss this sky show then don’t worry because there is another one named “Orionids Meteor Shower” which will be on peak during 20-21 oct.
Being a physicist and sky gazing lover, I must say that The Meteor shower is a treat for any sky gazer!!!!
