Significantly, there will be assembly elections in three phases in Assam.

The first phase of polling will take place on 27 March, the second phase will be held on 2 April and the third phase will be held on 6 April. Votes will be counted on May 2. In order to avoid any violence or disturbing atmosphere in the elections, 40 companies of Central Armed Paramilitary Forces will be deployed. Let us tell you that 126 assembly seats in Assam will go to the polls.

Which has previously got an opinion poll conducted by Times Now and C-Voter. In which the NDA seems to be getting an absolute majority under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In this survey, Sarbananda Sonowal has been the most liked as the Chief Minister. However, it is also seen in this survey that the NDA may face a tough competition from the Congress-led UPA.
