INDIAN FLAG TO REACH SPACE : ISRO TO LAUNCH ITS SMALLEST SATELLITE MADE BY SCHOOL GIRLS.
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is now going to launch their smallest rocket with a smallest satellite in it which is called as SSLV on 7tth of August, ISRO also promised that the rocket will carry the national flag to space, as India will be celebrating its 75 years of Independence.
The official launch for the rocket will be done at Sriharikota at 9:18 am on 7th August.In keeping mind that the country this year s going to celebrate 75 years of Independence ISRO made sure that the rocket will be accompanied by co passenger satellite which is named as “AazadiSAT” which is made by 750 girl students from 75 rural government schools across the country.
This idea was mainly focused on generating interest among the girl students for these kind of scientific works and they are successful in doing so.
The SSLV weighs around 120 tons and can easily carry around 500 kgs and is almost 34 feet tall. One can definitely say that on 75th Independence day India has actually done something which is good for the country.
