Kanika Mann portraying the role of Tara in ‘Chand Jalne Laga’ says, “Diwali holds a special place in my heart and brings back memories of joy, festivities and time spent with family and friends. When I was young, the celebration began with a visit to a local temple for blessings. Every year, my family performs a puja on Dhanteras and it sets the tone for the festive days ahead. I find happiness in the little joys of the festivities. This year, my Diwali celebrations will take place on the set of Chand Jalne Laga, surrounded by my wonderful cast mates. Great food, togetherness and camaraderie are going to be the highlights of my celebration. May the coming year bring all of us prosperity and happiness. Happy Diwali!”

Prachi Bansal essaying the role of Ganga in ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’ says, “Diwali is a special time of the year that brings a lot of positivity and the energy to start something new. It’s all about spending time with the people you love the most. This year, my family will be visiting me in Mumbai, and I’m super thrilled. Our plan is to dress up in our best clothes and gather for the puja, which is a crucial part of our Diwali tradition. We will gorge on yummy sweets and exchange gifts. The night will come alive with fireworks, movie time and delicious food. Here’s wishing everyone a Happy Diwali!”

Sudhaa Chandran playing the role of Kailashi Devi in ‘Doree’ shares, “From my earliest days, my father taught me the importance of helping others. Every Diwali, I carry on the tradition of visiting an orphanage to celebrate the festival with the children there. At my in-laws’ place, we observe the festival by worshipping Goddess Lakshmi. For me, this festival is about being grateful for the blessings I’ve received. I wish everyone a Happy Diwali and pray for a prosperous and peaceful world.”

Amar Upadhyay playing the role of Ganga Prasad in ‘Doree’ says, “I’m going to be spending time with my family. Before the festival, all the family members begin redecorating the home, buying new clothes, and exchanging gifts with relatives. I’m looking forward to sampling savoury snacks that have been my favourites since childhood. As a tradition, we will buy pieces of jewellery and eat dinner together. Nothing is more fulfilling than watching my children Chenab and Aryaman enjoy this festival. It’s wonderful to be reliving the Diwali of my childhood through them.”
