CJ Raman On His First Visit To UAE, Discusses Close Judicial Cooperation Between India-UAE

Dubai: Chief Justice of India NV Ramana arrived on a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and on Thursday discussed cooperation in the judicial sector between India and the Gulf country.

 

 

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi tweeted that Justice Ramana held a meeting with UAE Law Minister Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awadh Al Nuaimi and UAE Federal Supreme Court Chairman Mohammed Hamad Al Badi. Indian Ambassador to UAE Sunjay Sudhir was also present during this meeting. This is the first visit of the Chief Justice of India to the UAE.

 

 

The Indian Mission tweeted, ” In the presence of Hon’ble Justice Mrs Hima Kohli and Justice Abdul Rahman Al Balushi, the close judicial cooperation between the Indian Diaspora and India and UAE was discussed. The historic visit of the CJI will strengthen the shared evil.

 

Speaking at a felicitation ceremony organized by the Indian Community of UEA at the Indian Center for Social and Culture in Abu Dhabi, Justice Ramana said the growing ties between the two countries will grow stronger in the times to come and this bond of friendship will flourish and touch new heights
