Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 85 development projects worth Rs 109 crore at APMC ground in Visnagar. Twenty development works were launched under the Department of Health and Family Welfare while the foundation stone was laid for 43 projects. Apart from this, he performed the ground breaking ceremony for about 16 development works for various divisions of Visnagar taluka. Blood Donations camp was organised on the occasion and blood collected equalled the weight (Rakt Tula) of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Minister of Health Shri Rushikesh Patel.


Extending his new year greetings on the occasion, CM said that a strong foundation of development which was laid in Gujarat under the guidance of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has yielded very good results. Gujarat is a state where development is best planned for everyone in every sector. Referring to the occasion as ‘Vikas Utsav’, the CM said that, the overall development of the common people has been always at the center of the state’s development and intensive planning has been done by the state government for this purpose.


“Today, a multi-speciality hospital is being established at the village level which is a proof for the fact that state government has always remained at the forefront in providing the facilities of roads, electricity and water to the villages,” he added.


Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has urged all the citizens to be determined to build ViksitBharat@2047 and everyone should be determined to build a Viksit Gujarat to accomplish Viksit Bharat.


The Prime Minister launched Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, developed with the determination that even the most marginalized people will be included in the mainstream of development so that the benefits of the development scheme reach all the needy beneficiaries and the goal of a hundred percent target can be achieved. As a part of this, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being held in every district in the state of Gujarat. He also urged everyone to make efforts to ensure that no beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of the development schemes.


Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the pride of India has grown worldwide, so all citizens should be committed to building a better India, he added.


The Swaraj obtained through independence has to be transformed into Surajya and for this, the CM requested everyone to be determined to build a developed India by fulfilling the mantra of ‘Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas and Sauno Prayas’.


While describing the program as an amalgamation of service, charity and development, Minister of Health Shri Rushikesh Patel said that, the launching of development projects worth Rs. 109 crore is dedicated to the service of the people of Mehsana district.


Along with the development works, the underprivileged people of the society including children, girls, and disabled people have received various kinds of assistance amounting to Rs.30 to 40 crores through donors, he informed.


He further said that Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation for the all-round development of Gujarat, as part of which Gujarat today only discusses development and serves the people by focusing on development.


Today the Prime Minister has undertaken thorough planning of the Taranga, Dharoi, Vadnagar tourism circuit at an estimated cost of Rs.1000 crores and transformed pilgrimage places like Kashi Vishwanath, Somnath, Ambaji. The Ambaji-Abu Road railway line is planned to facilitate the transport service as well as strengthen the industrial and employment sector.


The Gujarat government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel is prioritizing development of the people of every section of the society irrespective of any cost.


Tireless efforts have been put in to make the farmers of Gujarat more prosperous by raising the water level so that not a single lake in the state remains empty.


Minister also called upon the leaders of the society to fulfil their social responsibility by working towards making their streets, surrounding areas and villages free of malnutrition.


He further added that for building a healthy nation it is very important that children, adolescents, pregnant women are free from malnutrition and anaemia.

On this occasion, CHC, PHC and 62 new ambulances were dedicated to serve patients in government hospitals. Health projects worth Rs. 9.70 crore were launched and foundation stone for development works worth Rs. 36.20 crores were also laid on this occasion.


Ground-breaking ceremony was performed for works of roads, building, and irrigation department worth Rs 61.51 crore and development works worth Rs. 1.63 crores were launched. On this occasion the Chief Minister also inaugurated the mega health event. To prevent malnutrition, nutrition kits were also distributed by CM to beneficiaries.


District Panchayat President Smt Trisha Patel, MP Smt Sharda Patel, MLAs Shri Sardar Chaudhary, Shri Karshan Solanki, Shri Sukhaji Thakor, former MP Shri Jiva Patel and Shri Jugalsinh Lokhandwala, representatives of Torrent and Cadila Group, leaders including Association President Shri Girish Rajgor, leaders, Principal Secretary Shri Dhananjay Dwivedi, Collector Shri M. Nagarajan, District Development Officer Dr. Omprakash, Superintendent of Police Shri Achal Tyagi and a large number of people were present for the event.
