Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel stated that Saints, Scriptures, and Culture constitute the three fundamental elements of Indian culture. He emphasized that India’s unwavering knowledge and worship system owe much to the significant contributions of the tradition of saints, scriptures, and the temple.

 

The Chief Minister remarked that the preparation of the Ram Mandir on the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya is an achievement that few could have envisioned. Lord Ram is considered the soul, identity, and pride of India. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has dedicated significant efforts to constructing the temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya. Soon, the doors of the Ram temple, guided by the Prime Minister’s leadership, will open for all Indians.

 

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel attended the Murti Pratistha Mohotsav at the Nutan Mandir of Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sansthan in Nadiad. He participated in the commemorative event marking the birth anniversary of Shri Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

 

CM Shri Bhupendra Patel, along with BAPS Chief Shri Mahant Swami, inaugurated a model of the new temple and its campus. During the visit, the CM paid homage to the idols in the temple and performed the anointment ceremony of the idol of Neelkanthvarni Maharaj.

 

The Chief Minister emphasized that both the new Swaminarayan temple in Nadiad and the long-planned temple of Lord Shri Ram are integral to our identity and a source of energy. He expressed that these temples would act as a continued source of inspiration for future generations, motivating them to contribute to the development of a Viksit Bharat while preserving the essence and values of the country.

 

The Chief Minister further stated that a temple acts as the place of God, a space to connect with the divine, and a focal point for devotional worship. The upcoming temple in Nadiad is envisioned to be a dedicated center for religious worship and cultural activities, catering to the spiritual needs of devotees.

 

He mentioned that even during the control of foreign rulers for numerous centuries, it was Lord Sahajanand Swami who established the thirteenth Triveni Sangam of these Bhagavata traditions in Gujarat and guided millions of people towards the path of righteousness and devotion.

 

The BAPS Swaminarayan Sect is a distinctive form of solitary worship founded by Lord Swaminarayan. The Chief Minister further noted that the followers of BAPS have a profound impact on the youth and children.

 

The Chief Minister emphasized that temples are our heritage, the heart of India’s culture, acting as living centers that reflect the pulse of people’s lives and acting as the focal point of our spirituality.

 

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has great affection and devotion towards Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The CM added that he has profound respect and love for Pujya Mahant Swami. The Satsangi activity of the organization has consistently supported and cooperated with the government in social services. The BAPS organization is making significant contributions to upholding our culture and values by constructing temples abroad and organizing satsang gatherings and meetings there. Currently, Mahant Swami Maharaj is leading the Satsang activity with renewed passion, he added.

 

The head of the organization, Shri Mahant Swami, and Keval Gyan Pithadishwar Shri Avichaldas Maharaj gave the blessings.

 

Saint Shri Brahma Vihari Swami of the institution welcomed everyone and mentioned that this temple will not only be the place of darshan but also a center for uplifting lives and fostering social unity and transformation in society. The temple is involved in as many as 160 social service activities. Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, possessing a spiritual nature coupled with a gentle yet firm disposition, is deeply committed to serving the people of Gujarat.

 

He mentioned the initiation of Women’s ITI and Sanskrit Maha Vidyalaya in Chansad, the birthplace of Pramukh Swami.

 

On this occasion, the Chief Minister was invited to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Swaminarayan temple established in UAE.

On this auspicious occasion, Minister of State Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma, Sant Shri Brahm Vihari Swamy, MLAs Shri Pankaj Desai, Shri Arjunsinh Chauhan, Shri Sanjaysinh Mahida, Shri Yogendrasinh Parmar, Shri Kalpesh Parmar, Santavarya Shri Doctor Swami, Shri Tyagavallabh Swami, Shri Ishwarcharan Swami, Shri Bhaktipriya Swami, Shri Viveksagar Swamy, and other Saints, Collector Shri K. L. Bachani, District Development Officer Smt. Shivani Goyal, and Municipal President, along with a large number of devotees, were present.
