She’s sharp, resourceful, and not afraid to use her charm to get ahead. However, her plans often go hilariously wrong, making her one of the show’s biggest sources of comedy. Despite her high ambitions, luck doesn’t always favor her, and that’s what makes her journey so entertaining.
3. What were your first thoughts when offered this role?
I was immediately drawn to the humor and energy of the show. I’ve played emotionally intense roles before, so stepping into a fast-paced comedy was a refreshing change. Kajal is unapologetically ambitious and materialistic, which makes her both fun and unpredictable. Plus, the aviation setting is rarely explored in sitcoms, and the idea of a chaotic cabin crew with over-the-top antics was too good to pass up.

Since Kajal is always scheming and thinking ahead, I focused on blending enthusiasm with calculated charm. The challenge was to make her funny and unpredictable without overdoing it, which made the process even more exciting.
6. How does it feel to return to COLORS?
It’s amazing! COLORS has always been special to me—I’ve played some of my most memorable roles here, like in Swaragini and Ishq Mein Marjawan. The love and support from the audience have been incredible, and returning feels like coming home. This time, I’m stepping into a completely different genre—something fun, quirky, and lighthearted. Exploring comedy, especially in a setting as dynamic as aviation, has been a refreshing challenge. COLORS has always encouraged me to experiment, and Zyada Mat Udd is another exciting chapter in my journey. I’m eager to see how the audience reacts to Kajal because she’s unlike any character I’ve played before.
