The time of night curfew in Ahmedabad has been changed once again. The night curfew in Ahmedabad will be from 9 pm to 6 am. While it has been decided to close all mall cinemas in Ahmedabad on Saturday-Sunday.

In this regard, a meeting was held with Additional Chief Secretary of the State Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Chairman of IAS, Municipal Commissioner Mukesh Kumar IAS, Deputy Municipal Commissioners of different zones and other officials to review the current situation.

The decision to impose curfew was taken from last Wednesday from 10 pm to 6 am in four major cities of the state, including Surat, as the transition to Corona increased. However, as the Corona case is on the rise in Surat city, a meeting has been organized under the chairmanship of Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Tomar and Municipal Commissioner Banchhanidhi Pani. At the end of the meeting, it was decided to increase the night curfew. Accordingly, it was decided to keep the curfew from 9 pm to 6 am from tomorrow 19-03-21. It was also decided to close all the malls in the city on Saturdays and Sundays.
