Chiripal Group, as a part of its environment-friendly commitment, joined hands with Mirchi for a campaign to enhance the green cover of Ahmedabad. This initiative called “Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha” was unveiled on World Environment Day. As a part of this initiative, an ambitious target was set to plant 50000 trees in Ahmedabad. This drive is co-powered by Apollo CVHF heart Institute and supported by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
The culmination ceremony of ‘Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha’ was held at Shanti Business School Ground on 26th June. Many dignitaries, i.e. Shri Kirit Parmar – Mayor of the Ahmedabad, Shri Lochan Sehra, AMC’s commissioner, Shri Hiteshbhai Barot – AMC’s Standing Committee Chairman, Shri Jignesh Patel – Director AMC Garden Department, Shri Ronak Chiripal, Promoter Chiripal Group made an appeal to citizens to contribute in every possible way to make the city greener. Dr. Sameer Dani CEO of Apollo CVHF Heart Institute, and other senior promoters of Chiripal group were also present for this ceremony.
Speaking about this drive, Mr. Ronak Chiripal, Promoter, Chiripal Group said, “Chiripal Group is steadfast about its sustainability goals and we are committed to enhance the green cover of Ahmedabad and improve the overall air quality. We owe our success to this city, and we want all Amdavadis to participate in this cause to make it greener.”
Nimit Tiwari, Business Director, ENIL stated, “Mirchi has successfully undertaken tree plantation initiatives over the past few years. With mass participation from citizens, this drive will certainly transform the look of Ahmedabad and make it a greener city, rich in flora and fauna”.
Mirchi RJs leading the activity, such as Krutarth, Mit, Yashvi, Netrie and Kunal were also present at the green event, and they supported this cause by spreading this environment-friendly message with their followers.
