Gandhinagar, 13 December 2023: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel unveiled the book ‘Seva Sankalp Nu Ek Varsh,’ showcasing the accomplishments of the state government in Water Resources, Water Supply, Food, and Civil Supply. Under the leadership of CM Shri Bhupendra Patel, the current government has released comprehensive informational booklets detailing various public welfare schemes implemented over the past year under the guidance of Shri Kunvarji Bavaliya, Minister of Water Resources, Water Supply, Food, and Civil Supply.

 

The Chief Minister released the three books ahead of the state cabinet meeting, with the presence of the ministers.

 

The Water Supply Department has laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs. 969.34 crore while a sufficient drinking water supply to the rural population of 1,096 villages has been undertaken. Also, these informative books elaborate on the comprehensive details regarding the water supply to 823 villages through the implementation of diverse schemes valued at Rs. 549.22 crore, along with outlining future plans in this regard.

 

The booklet, unveiled by the Chief Minister for the Food and Civil Supply Department, features the ‘Saune Anna, Saune Poshan’ scheme, along with the accomplishments of other initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the PM Ujjwala Yojana.

 

In the book ‘Seva Sankalp Nu Ek Varsh’ the Water Resources Department has outlined the achievements of campaigns aimed at enhancing the Sauni, Sujalam Suflam Yojana, and groundwater storage in both remote areas of the state and Saurashtra-Kutch.

The event saw the esteemed presence of Shri Kunvarji Bavaliya, Minister of Water Resources, Water Supply, Food, and Civil Supply, along with Minister of State Shri Bhikhusinhji Parmar and Minister of State Shri Mukesh Patel.
