Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurates Bahumali Houses at Memnagar

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the newly constructed government housing in Memnagar Government Colony of Ahmedabad today. The 13-storey building with a total of ’52’ houses constructed in a state-of-the-art style at a cost of Rs 13.10 crore.


The Chief Minister visited this high-rise building constructed by the Roads and Buildings Department and inspected the facilities. Equipped with ultra-modern facilities, these residences have changed the definition of government housing. Roads and Buildings Secretary Shri Sandeep Vasava informed the Chief Minister about the facilities of these houses.


If you look at the features of these apartments, 4 apartments have been built on each floor in a 13-storey building. Along with drawing room, two bedrooms, kitchen, balcony, attached toilet, washing space, parking has also been properly arranged. Along with this, two lifts and modern facilities of fire safety have also been made available in the building. Vitrified tiles, FRP doors, aluminum windows, brick masonry are also installed. The accommodation has a modular kitchen, furniture and paver tiles flooring in the parking.


The state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel is committed to provide the best housing arrangements to the employees of the state government. Construction of 892 new B and C class residential houses at an estimated cost of Rs 251.15 crore has been completed in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.


Apart from this, the construction of 1424 new residential houses of various levels at an estimated cost of Rs 350 crore is in progress at Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. The construction of 1788 new residential houses of various levels will start in the days to come.

On this occasion State Forest and Environment Minister Shri Mulu Bera, MLA of Ellisbridge area Shri Amit Shah, Mayor of the city Shri Kirit Parmar and local corporators etc were present.
