Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel participated in Raksha Bandhan celebrations at Gandhinagar, where he exemplified the significance of this festival that symbolizes the pure bond between brothers and sisters.
Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Smt Bhanuben Babariya, joined by women MLAs, female police officers and women from across the state, tied Rakhi to the Chief Minister, conveying their blessings for his continuous dedication to the welfare of the people and wishing him a long life.
A remarkable highlight of the event was a 325-foot-long Rakhi, intricately crafted by students from Sadhna Vinay Mandir School in Ahmedabad’s Ghatlodiya area. This exquisite Rakhi showcased themes such as G20 and Chandrayaan-3.
Within just 8 days, approximately 42 students skilfully created this impressive Rakhi using around 100 meters of cloth. It depicted developmental aspects like India and Gujarat’s identity, India’s G20 Presidency, and the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission.
