The Confederation of All India Traders (CAT) has made extensive preparations to take the call to every corner of the country. Under Kate’s banner, the country’s business community is gearing up to give China a major tweak of about Rs 40,000 crore this year on the Diwali festival season.

CAT National General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal said that about Rs 70,000 crore is traded in India every year during the Diwali season. This includes expensive retail trade like gold, silver, automobiles. In this trade of Rs 70,000 crore, goods worth about Rs 40,000 crore have been imported from China in recent years.
