Srikant Datar is an esteemed pedagog and is currently the Arthur Lowes Dickinson Professor of Business Administration and the senior associate dean for University Affairs.
Shrikant Datar opted his bachelor’s degree with distinction in 1973 from the University of Bombay. He obtain his post-graduation diploma in business management from IIM Ahmedabad. Then He went on to acquire his masters in statistics and economics before his Ph.D in business from Stanford University.
In the School’s 112 year history, Shrikant becomes the 11th dean and 2nd consecutive Indian to become dean of Harvard Buissenes School taking over from Nitin Nohria. Shrikant Datar will assume charge on January 1.
