South Korean technology company Samsung may close its popular Galaxy Note series. The company is reportedly preparing to replace the Galaxy Note from the Galaxy Fold series.
News agency Reuters quoted three sources as saying that Samsung will not launch the Galaxy Note line from next year. For next year, the company has no plans to create a note series.
However, the company may offer the S-Pen style offered in the Galaxy Note series in variants of its flagship series the Galaxy S series. However, some reports have said that the company will also offer S Pen in its foldable smartphone.
Even before Reuters, such news had been circulating for weeks that the company would not launch the Note series from now on and would instead focus on the Foldable and Galaxy S series.
The Galaxy Note series is a special segment phone and consumers buy it for productivity. The price of its top variant may clash with the Galaxy Fold, perhaps this is the reason why the company may decide not to launch it further.
However, Samsung has not yet done anything official about this. Meanwhile, the design of the Galaxy S21 has also been leaked. Coming out of this render is that the design of the Galaxy S series could be completely changed in 2021.
