Mass promotion will be given to children of 1st to 8th standard? Find out what the Department of Education said

Corona virus positive cases are increasing in Gujarat.  No decision has yet been taken by the state government to reopen the school to prevent the spread of coronary heart disease among students.  Students are being taught online at home so that they can study safely. 

In addition, state teachers are delivering papers to students’ homes and taking their exams.  Due to the closure of schools amid the Corona epidemic for the last six months, there have been discussions that the education department is considering giving mass promotions to students and had earlier approached the government to give mass promotions to students of Std 1 to 9.  Parents introduced that some schools do not provide online education to students.  Due to which students are deprived of studies, mass promotion should be given to students of 1st to 9th standard.

Regarding giving mass promotion to students, the state education department clarified that the education department is not considering giving mass promotion to children from standard 1 to 8.  The education department also appealed for clarification as well as not to mislead the parents.
