Recently, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Hon’ble Vijay Rupani visited Uzbekistan to attend the country’s first investment summit modelled on the Vibrant Gujarat summit. At the summit, he suggested a mutual cooperative partnership between Uzbekistan and India (specifically Gujarat). The Bukhara State Medical Institute of Uzbekistan, which is a Government Institute, has taken the initiative of the Education Exchange Programme for the MBBS students of Gujarat University. In this Student Exchange program, the students who are studying in the medical colleges of Gujarat University will get an opportunity to study at the Bukhara State Medical Institute. Also, the students who are studying at Bukhara State Medical Institute will get an opportunity to study in the medical colleges of Gujarat University. It will be a double diploma program and a great opportunity for the students of Gujarat who wanted to study in Uzbekistan or vice versa.
PeopleHive LLC an exclusive partner with Bukhara State Medical Institute Uzbekistan has become the mutual partner to implement this Student Exchange Programme. Mr. Akhatjon Askarovich, Vice-rector for International Affairs, Uzbekistan, from the Education sector of the Uzbekistan Government, had come to Gujarat to do Research for the possibilities, outcomes, and opportunities for the students of GU to come and study in the medical Institute of Bukhara. Mr. Piyush Saini, India head for Indian students’ admissions in medical courses is the coordinator head of PeopleHive has visited SGVP, Manjushree Ayurveda college, Goenka Research Institute of Dental with Mr. Akhatjon and other team members.
They talked with the authorities of these colleges about the idea Bukhara State Medical Institute wanted to combine Traditional Medicine with Indian Medicine. They all do Research about the Medical courses which could provide by the Bukhara State Medical Institute for the double diploma program in the MBBS field.
Prior, there were a smaller number of students who goes to Uzbekistan to study. Bukhara State Medical Institute has taken this initiative to make the students of Gujarat and their parents aware of an opportunity to study medicine in Uzbekistan. Bukhara State Medical Institute calls for traditional medicine, medical Biology, general medicine, ayurvedic sciences and Pathology with the students from Gujarat University to study in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
In the year 2019, there were 20 students of India who went to Uzbekistan to study medicine or MBBS. By this initiative, Mr. Akhtajon and PeopleHive LLC and the team are expecting around 50 students of Gujarat to come and study in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. This initiative is also meant to build a mutual relationship between India and Uzbekistan. Mr. Akhtajon said that hopefully, this initiative of the Cultural and Education Programme will take place in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit road map of 2020.
This initiative will help India and Uzbekistan to exchange their culture and diversity with each other. Also, the motive behind this initiative is the development of both countries. There are some benefits for the students who will go to the Bukhara State Medical Institute that there will be free of cost hostel facilities and food also. The students can go by the student visa and the visa system followed by India and Uzbekistan. Bukhara State Medical Institute will take admission by conducting Interviews, students having good numbers in their mark sheet, having fluency in English and other respectable procedures. The courses for this initiative of the Education Exchange Programme will be conducted in English Medium.
