Viral Desai has been awarded the National Award five times so far.
The National Energy Conservation Award was organized by the Ministry of Energy in the Delhi Capital on National Energy Conservation Day, in which Surat Ecopreneur Viral Desai was awarded the first award across the country in a textile. Interestingly, Viral Desai is also the Chairman of the Energy and Renewable Energy Committee of the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce (SGCCI).
Energy Minister RK Singh was especially present at the event organized by BEE and greeted various companies and businessmen working for energy conservation.
Viral Desai and his company Zenitex have been awarded this national award four times by the Ministry of Energy, three times in which they have been ranked first in the country. Apart from this, he has been awarded a National Award.
In this regard He said, ‘Energy saving is the moral duty of all of us and if we truly love our country, we all have to save energy at our own level. I take every step of the way in conserving energy not just in my home, but also in my company Zenitex. The Government of India has appreciated this work from time to time. I am grateful to the Government of India and Prime Minister Modi for this. ”
So Energy Minister RK Sing said, “Saving energy is not only saving money but also saving the environment. And protecting the environment is one of the first demands in today. ‘ It is noteworthy that this National Award given by the Ministry of Energy and BEE gives marks out of hundred marks in various categories.
All of these categories have the highest marks of Zenitex, Renowned industry groups from all over the country also participated in the competition.
It is a matter of pride for Surat and Gujarat that despite an SME, Zenitex has come first in the country and for the fourth time this national award has been named of Gujarat. It is a matter of pride for the Surat unit’s textile industry.
