Australia’s explosive opener David Warner has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the limited-over series against India. On Sunday, during the second ODI in Sydney, he had to leave the field due to groin injury.
The 34-year-old will no longer play in the three-match T20 series in addition to the third ODI to be played on Wednesday. While he has returned to his home, he will go through the rehab process. It is believed that he will be fine by the Test series starting on December 17.
Apart from David Warner, Pat Cummins has also been ruled out of the rest of Australia’s limited overs matches against India. Darcy Short has been included in the T20 squad. The first match of the T20 series will be played on 4 December. The next matches will be held on 6 and 8 December.
