Australia’s David Warner has been sacked as Sunrisers Hyderabad are going through a tough time in the Indian Premier League. Ken Williamson is now in charge of the team for the rest of the 2021 season.
An official statement from Sunrisers said Ken Williamson would now lead the team. This season has not been good for Hyderabad. The team has won one of the 6 matches.
The franchise has also hinted that the playing XI will change in the next match. There will be a definite change in the foreign set of players. Tadevid Warner may have to sit out the match against Rajasthan. The Sunrisers said in an official statement that Kane Williamson will lead the team for tomorrow’s match and for the rest of the IPL. The team management has also decided that the combination of their foreign players in the match against Rajasthan will change.
Hyderabad said in an official statement that the decision was difficult as the management respects the influence that David Warner has had on the franchise over the years. We are confident that Warner will continue to strive for success both on and off the field. Hyderabad will take on Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.
