Rajkot, July4, 2019 : Tata Power Solar, India's largest solar energy company, and Tata Power's wholly owned subsidiary launches its pan India residential solar rooftop campaign. The campaign got unveiled today in the city of Rajkot, the fourth largest city of the state of Gujarat, to inspire the residents of the city to implement residential solar rooftop solution.This campaign intent to cover
100 cities across India and expected to save up to Rs. 50,000
per 5kW per year.Mr. Rahul B. Gupta, IAS, Collector, Rajkot and
Mr. J. J. Gandhi, C.E. (Tech), Paschim Gujarat Vij Co. Ltd, Rajkot
along with other senior dignitaries from the government and
key decision makers from the corporate industry graced the
launch event with their presence.
To support the campaign and create further awareness on the
drive, Tata Power Solar is organizing a cycle rally in the city
where the local residents will be informed on the benefits of
adopting solar energy. Along with this, the initiative has anative
connect where the consumers will understand the importance
of renewable energy. #PledgeForSolar inspires the people of
India to accept the positive change and move towards the solar
energy usage.

Cricket Club of India and installed the World’s largest solar powered Cricket Stadium Mumbai, in a record
period of 100 days.
