To help the country in the fight against Corona, the Indian Army personnel have donated a part of their salary to the PM Care Fund. There have been reports of large corporate houses, PSU banks, wealthy people donating funds, but an RTI has revealed that army personnel have deposited more than Rs 200 crore in PM Care Fund.
As per RTI data, Indian Air Force personnel, officers and naval personnel have announced Rs 29.18 crore, Rs 12.41 crore for April-October. However, the Indian Army has refused to disclose the donation.
