Along with the bus, the metro was also closed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation but now the decision to start the metro train has been taken by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
The GMRC, which operates the metro train, said the metro train will start tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Importantly, people are facing a lot of difficulties due to the closure of bus service and there are complaints that rickshaw pullers are also charging higher fares due to the need to get to business quickly. Then people will get some relief as soon as the metro starts. In Ahmedabad, it has been decided to close gardens, gyms, game zones, sports clubs and bus services until a new decision is announced. At the same time, the night curfew has been extended.
Restaurants, eateries, malls, leaf stalls and tea stalls are being closed in Ahmedabad and Surat after 9 pm. The curfew will be in force in four cities, including Ahmedabad, till March 31. Apart from this, the guidelines issued by the state government regarding the upcoming Holi-Dhuleti festival in the coming days have also asked the people not to celebrate Holi in droves. People will be able to celebrate Holi by following the rules but will not be able to play with colors on a dusty day.
