Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel addressed a one-day conference of District Development Officers of the State in Gandhinagar. All three levels of the panchayat system, including the rural sector, were called upon to fulfill the responsibility of enhancing the image of the government by providing quality service facilities to every citizen.
In this context, he said that in the 55 services provided to the citizens in the panchayats, the government has added 321 more services and started providing services to the people at their doorsteps. He added that working as a district development officer, you should solve the problems of the people.
The government has done sound financial management so that there is no shortage or loss of money for development works. He also requested to see that this money-grant is fully utilized for welfare development works.
CM appealed to be a leader in building a developed Gujarat in realizing the call of a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Chief Secretary Shri. Pankajkumar urged planning of development works with big goals from strategic thinking, unity and integrity of the nation in any development work.
Panchayat State Minister Shri Bachubhai Khabad, Panchayat- Rural Housing Additional Chief Secretary Shri Vipul Mitra, Secretaries Smt. Sonal Mishra, Shri Sandeep Kumar and Development Officers of all districts participated in this conference.
