Gandhinagar: In a joint conference of the District Collectors, DDOs ( District Development Officers) and Commissioners of Mega Cities , Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has appealed to work with sincere and dedicated efforts for the welfare of the people of the state. He also called for faster decision making in various public welfare programs.
The CM added that the government shall support the officers in case of any bonafide errors i.e unintentional errors. However, the government will not entertain any kind of malafide errors, i.e intentional errors or wrong doings.
Rupani also said that the image of Gujarat government is that of a clean and transparent government. We shall not tolerate corruption at any level of administration and the government shall not show any kind of soft corner for those who are involved in the same. He also said that the he shall visit, twice a week, various districts and places in the state where the developmental projects are ongoing and take feedback from the common people in order to get a clear understanding about the progress of the work there.
He appealed the officers to adopt a sensitive and transparent approach while working for the welfare of the people and announced that such kind of conferences shall be held every four months to focus on various welfare schemes and projects and get a firsthand understanding of the work in progress. He further appealed them to adopt a proactive approach while working for the welfare of the people.
The CM also appealed to focus on areas of health, education and public welfare and get the best results in the various schemes and projects related to the same.
He said that the state government will start the Sujalam Sufalam Scheme from 1st May to increase the awareness for the judicious use of water.
Revenue Minister Kaushik Patel, Minister of Panchayat Jaydrathsinh Parmar and various officers of the related departments were present on the occasion.
