To mark this year’s International Yoga Day, FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter, in collaboration with Shoonya Living Studio & Wellness, organized an online session for its FLO members. The session was organized in the presence of renowned Yoga expert and trainer, Mr. Shashi Kumar.
They say Yoga is the master key to being physically & mentally vigorous. Practicing yoga in day to day life, helps improve respiration, energy, and vitality. Nowadays, with everyone being stressed about the global pandemic, Yoga can play an important role that will help keep individuals physically, and emotionally calm. Through the session, FLO Members expanded their understanding of Yoga & potentially added more yoga into their daily routine.
On this occasion, Mr. Shashi Kumar – Global Yoga Expert and Trainer, at Shoonya Living Studio & Wellness, said that “Yog is about squeezing all your troubles away and enhance your body & soul with positive energy. A Yogic lifestyle means a disciplined lifestyle, and if you are living your life in a disciplined manner, it means you are living it in a yogic way. Yoga is an attitude to make ourselves positive and dynamic.”
He further talked about ‘Yogic breathe’ and said “Breathing has a direct connection to the mind, and the mind has a direct connection to breathing. It is also connected to our emotions like laughing, crying and anger; you can feel your breath when you have these emotions. Deep breath means a stress-free situation. An anxious mind can never breathe calmly, but by Yogic asanas, you can get the ability to have it.”
Taruna Patel- Chairperson of FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter has always been enthusiastic to organize such noble events for the FLO Members. This Yoga meet was helpful for daily yoga practitioners for improving their yoga skills. The 8 limbs of Yoga – Yamas, Niyama, Asana, Pranayam, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana & Samadhi were performed by various members.
Dipti Shah, Entrepreneur of Shoonya Living Yoga Studio & Wellness said that “Regular yoga practice can result in goodness & positivity in life if we put grudges and anger aside.”
