Incident happen a while ago, when one person through bomb and stab couple of people. Police took strict action immediately and shoot the culprit. One man has been arrested and is in a critical condition after being shot in the chest by police, who say they are keeping an open mind on whether the incident is terrorism-related.
At West Melbourne police station several tables have been set up to interview the dozens of witnesses who were at the scene in a makeshift interview space.
Police are guarding the station doors and directing people inside to give their statements.
It looks like it will be a very long night for police and witnesses.
