Ahmedabad: The 9th edition of Quality Mark Award 2019 was held in Doubletree by Hilton, Ahmedabad. The Chief Guest of this event were the Honorable Minister of State, Shri Mansukhbhai Mandaviya (Independent Charge), Minister of Shipping, Chemicals and Fertilizers and Hon’ble Minister of Gujarat Shri Kunvarjibhai Mohanbhai Bavaliya (Water Supply, Animal Husbandry ,Rural Housing). The program’s guest of Honor was Mr. Kiritbhai Solanki (Member of Parliament), Bijalben Patel (Mayor, Ahmedabad), Mr. Hitubhai Kanodiya (MLA) and Dr. Rutvij Patel (President BJYM).
Quality Mark Awards were given to 32 institutions in 2019, including Deendayal Port Trust – Pioneer Industries Maritime Services, Baghshri Infratech Private Limited – Real Estate Eco-Friendly Residential, PR 24×7-PR and Communication, Raymond Limited Jalgaon-Textile, Owens Corning – International Packaging Products Pvt. Fortune 500, Captain Tractors Pvt. Ltd. – Automobile Mini Tractors, Agrikem Life Science Pvt. Ltd.- Agricultural Pesticides, Seed Agritech- Organic Food Products, Land Agro Industries- Agricultural Equipment, Rajasthan Powergen Transformer Pvt. Ltd.- Transformers of Electrical Equipment, Rome Switch Pvt. Ltd.- Electrical Products and Home Automation System, Bhagat Dhanadal Corporation- Food Products, mouth fresheners are involved.
In the nomination through quality marktrust.com (qualitymarktrust.com), a total of 1800 recognized companies and businessmen from all over the country participated in the nomination. Of these, about 1200 companies and businessmen were elected by telephonic conversation. In order to choose the top partners for the Quality Mark Awards, 800 companies were shortlisted from the companies selected by telephonic conversations. After that, a total of 350 companies were nominated for the final visit. These included entities and businessmen coming from the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Kerala and Haryana.

Quality Mark Trust was launched in 2013 by members joining system certification. This is India’s first and only single award function, which is given on the basis of the best quality. Under this, the work of evaluating the quality of the whole system, product and service of a business is done. Earlier, eight quality mark award has been given, which included institutions coming from states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP and Tamilnadu. Every year there are more than 2500 nominations in the Quality Mark Award. The special thing is that through this free registration process, any small businessman could register himself.
