Woods at Sasan, India’s first biophilic retreat with best-in-class wildlife programming in Sasan Gir forest, has been awarded at the Gujarat Travel & Tourism Excellence Awards 2021 as the Best 5 Star Hotel in Gujarat. The award is an honour earned by Woods at Sasan after working to build one of the finest and most sustainably luxurious retreats in the country. Felicitated by Hon. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the brand is delighted to receive such an accolade.
The Gujarat Travel and Tourism awards held every year recognize the hotels, retreats, photographers and other contributors that make Gujarat one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. The winners in each category are selected after careful evaluation of the services offered, customer review and complaint response systems, initiatives taken for Covid-19, and more by Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited. The event was graced by Minister of State for Tourism Arvindbhai Raiyani, Tourism Secretary Harit Shukla, TCGL Managing Director Jenu Devan, other notable personalities like Milind Soman, and Gita Rabari, apart from the bigwigs of the tourism and hospitality industry.
