Well known car maker Hyundai is all set to launch a new MPV called Staria in India in the coming days, which will compete with powerful cars like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Mahindra Marazzo. Hyundai has recently trademarked MPV Starai in India. The car is trademarked in the automobile, vans, electric vehicle, truck and hybrid vehicle categories. Earlier it was trademarked in the Philippines, but now it is also trademarked in India. It is believed that Hyundai Staria may be launched in the Indian market next year i.e. in 2022. Hyundai will be developing its upcoming MPV on the same platform as the popular compact SUV Hyundai Creta.
However, the 7-seater MPV Hyundai Staria may be launched with a different engine. The details of this car will be known in the coming time, according to the information that has come before, this car will have the same interior as the Creta. From this you can guess that in the price range this car can be more than Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Mahindra Marazzo.
It is being speculated that the look of Hyundai Staria may also be different from the rest of the MPV, making it a strong presence in the MPV segment. Hyundai’s upcoming MPV will feature smart connectivity, bluelink features, a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic AC, wireless charger, cruise control and many other standard features and safety features.
The car can also be launched with the option of diesel engine along with petrol. Its 1.5 liter petrol engine can generate 113bhp of power and 145Nm of torque. While this 1.5 liter diesel engine of MPV will generate power of 113bhp and torque of 250Nm. It will also be launched with manual and automatic transmission options.
Hyundai is also set to launch a 7-seater version of its compact SUV Creta and Micro SUV Hyundai AX1 next year. With that the company is planning for next year, where it can expand the sedan, mid-size SUV and SUV segment.
