“मेहंदी लगा के रखना….
डॉली सजा के रखना….
लेने तुझे ओ गोरी आएंगे तेरे सजना”
As soon as Ridhima picked up the phone, she heard Vansh singing this song. Ridhima said, “Are you seriously coming ..? But I still have one thing to tell you”
Vansh replied, “Ridhima, we’ve known each other for so long now that we well understand one another. There’s nothing left to say.”
“There is Vansh. Please listen… I’m not only a widow, but I also have a five year old daughter who is…” The line went dead, before she could complete her sentence.
Despite all efforts and many attempts, she couldn’t get in touch with Vansh for two to three days. Just then Ridhima remembered a poem:”Where I’d gone to beget love…Friendship also went away,Where I was longing for a glimpse..Alas!! Hope also slipped away.”
As soon as the doorbell rang, it brought her out of her reverie.
The door was opened. Echoes of songs fell on her ears, ‘તમે વ્હાલનો દરિયો અમે તરસ્યા વ્હાલીડા..’ (I’m thirsty for you, oh my ocean of love.)
That’s when her blind princess asked, “Mummy, who has come?”
Once again Vansh was engrossed in doubtful thoughts.
