The Tree House chain distributes national flags among students in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan Rajesh Bhatia, Founder of Tree House, says this is a gesture to pay homage to all those who selflessly fought for India’s freedom On the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, Tree House, a premier offline and online chain of schools, distributed national flags to students in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. Educationist and founder of Tree House, Rajesh Bhatia says, “In the 75 year of Independence, we wanted to remind students of the sacrifices that countless freedom fighters have made so that we could have the privilege of proudly saluting the tricolour. The national flag is a reminder that we can never take our hard-earned freedom for granted.” The young recipients in Pune, Vadodara, and Jaipur made formations to showcase the tricolour in all its glory. Bhatia adds, “After two years of online celebrations, children across the country are finally able to come together just in time for our 75th Independence Day and we wanted to make a special gesture to mark this occasion and to make it truly memorable for them.” Bhatia believes patriotism should not just be sentiment reserved for Independence Day or Republic Day but should be expressed through constructive actions for the benefit of the nation and says, “At Tree House, we try to educate children in a comprehensive way so that they can grow up to be responsible, proactive citizens. Sensitizing them to the meaning and importance of our national flag is just one way of bringing them closer to what India represents. Our children, across all age groups, also get to participate in the flag hoisting ceremony on Independence Day,” he added. Tree House was founded in 2003 and continues to serve children in pre-schools and high schools.
