Shagun Pandey, portraying the role of Veer in COLORS’ ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’, expresses, “Now that I’m living away from home, I miss my mother and all her sweet gestures – the way she lovingly prepared my favorite dishes, fed me with her own hands, and even scolded me when I drifted off course. During my college days, as I pursued my dreams of acting, she helped me gather small cutouts and printouts. Whenever I call her regarding the clothes I have to wear for auditions, she irons them and finds me amazing color combinations. She is the entertainer of our family, and my acting skills have come from her. She used to come every time to see me off whenever I was going somewhere by train to look for work. She always made time for her family, and her kindness extended far beyond our home, touching the lives of countless others. Happy Mother’s Day!”

Anchal Sahu, portraying the character of Parineet in COLORS’ ‘Parineetii’ shares, “My mother has instilled in me values that have become the foundation of who I am – the importance of staying true to myself and being kind to others. I recall the moments from my childhood when my mother would lovingly prepare my favourite sweets as a celebration of any accomplishment, no matter how big or small. My solution to most problems is to ask myself what my mother would do. Everything I do is about making her proud. On Mother’s Day, I just want to urge all these superwomen to take care of their health too while they’re taking care of others.”

Fahmaan Khan, portraying the character of Aryaman in COLORS’ ‘Krishna Mohini’ shares, “A mother’s love is the child’s biggest superpower. Throughout my life, my mom has always been there for me, cheering me on in good times and supporting me in bad times. Whenever I’m having a tough day, just a call to her instantly makes me feel better. To her, I’m still her ‘natkhat beta,’ who she’ll constantly worry about. This Mother’s Day, I want to express gratitude not just to my mom, but to all mothers raising a generation with everything they’ve got.”

Deepika Singh, portraying Mangal in COLORS’ ‘Mangal Lakshmi’ says, “As an actor, I’ve had the privilege of stepping into various roles but the role of being a mother is by far the most rewarding and humbling experience of my life. I admire the strength and infinite capacity to love mothers have. It wasn’t until I held my child in my arms that I truly grasped the meaning of unconditional love. Every single day, my child teaches me invaluable lessons about finding joy in the simplest of moments. Motherhood has made me stronger and braver. Here’s wishing everyone a very happy Mother’s Day.”
